A quilt with no colours would be rare indeed. That’s why our one regret with our newsletter has been that we can’t yet publish in full
colour.
One of the first things you notice about quilts are colours. Yes there are always design and textures, and the quilting, to enhance those elements, but most of the time the colours lead you to really study a quilt. The colours used often not only decorate the quilt, they often lead the eye to the design and patterns or the art being depicted.
With our photo gallery we finally have the opportunity to share these things with our readers. Here you will find the quilts shown on the pages of Connections
